The saddest anime…

Every anime I watched in 2011 was depressing as fuck!

All I did was

So what anime won everything else?  Anohana.  That is the most depressing there is on this planet.  Why?  When one of your best friends die at the age of five and you think it is secretly your fault that can drive anyone insane.  And the plot is solid enough for anyone to relate to it.  And the ending was perfect.  I compare EVERYTHING that is depressing to that anime now.
